All club members are expected to hold 3rd Party Liability Insurance during their membership.
This means that if you cause an accident, damage someone else's property or injure someone whilst out cycling then you have insurance in place to cover any costs. Insurance which will provide up to £10 million of cover is available from as little as £25 per year.
If you are thinking of joining the club and would like to try a few club runs or training rides whilst you decide, then the club has an insurance policy that will cover you for up to three rides. Thereafter you will be expected to join the club and source your own 3rd party insurance.
It is the individual member's responsibility to ensure they have sufficiently appropriate third party insurance in place.
The club currently affiliates to Cycle UK and British Cycling allowing the club members access to their affiliate insurance schemes.
